 Pleasingly different menu from standard fayre. Delicious, layered, rich flavours. I had lamb tacos to start which were sumptuous. . Best Indian meal I have had. Service is wonderfully friendly and restaurant is spotless. Highly recommend!

 Probably the nicest Indian food we have had in a long time. We chose meals from the small plates and shared them between two of us. Every single dish was delicious.
 The only thing that let the restaurant down was the service. The lady serving us was very nice and friendly but she was also running the reception in the hotel. How can you do both? Not fair on her really. We were not in a rush so it didn’t matter to us but we saw 6 customers walk out due to not getting served. Apart from this the food was spot on.

 The best Indian food we’ve had in ages. He lamb tacos were incredible. Tasted fresh and good portion sizes. Ava was super helpful and lovely, too. Would highly recommend!

 Ashwin was such a lovely host, I travelled on my own and he didn't mind me talking his head off! Food was fabulous thanks chef clive! Really interesting menu, lots of choice, Mary was very friendly and professional, will definitely return x

 Came here for food before concert, was immediately seated at a nice table and served straight away, food was absolutely stunning and the service was really friendly, overall very happy, will definitely be returning

 Dined at the Masala Lounge on a Sunday evening. Our welcome was warm and friendly and drinks order taken. Water was provided for the table without being asked. Questions about the menu were answered well and four out the five diners chose from the small plates menu whilst the other opted for the Sunday roast. All the food arrived hot and was pronounced delicious by all. The Sunday roast lamb chops were superb. We would definitely eat at Masala Lounge again and encourage you to try it too.

 First time we have visited this relatively new venue in Halifax. Restaurant is spotlessly clean and a wonderful classy surroundings. Service was extra polite and the food was fantastic. Not the cheapest but the quality makes up for that. A must for a repeat visit. Sunday roast for me next time.

 We went for te first time on Easter Sunday, what can I say? The best curry restaurant in Halifax. I had the prawns and the lamb chops. My partner had the chicken tikka. The food was gorgeous. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back to try more of the gorgeous dishes.

 Just grabbed a couple of the lamb tacos in the market hall from these guys, OMG an absolute flavour explosion! Amazing ,would love to try more from the menu next time we are in Halifax .

 We visited for the first time a week ago and we're pleasantly surprised.  The menu included dishes we hadn't experienced before and everything we chose was delicious
 The atmosphere wasn't great as we were the only diners - possibly because of the overnight roadworks in the area.
 The staff were very pleasant and we will definitely be returning.

 Visited for Mother’s Day and received a free cocktail on arrival which was a really lovely touch. The service was great and the decor is clean, modern and comfortable. We were a party of four and we all enjoyed every single dish. The biryani was especially tasty. We will definitely be visiting again soon and look forward to trying more of the delicious menu.

 Me and my partner stayed at the hotel for the weekend and tried the masala lounge on its first night on Saturday and all I can say is, it was amazing, the food is the best Indian I have ever had, the flavours are amazing and the onion barji bites are the future, the staff are lovely and Ahs the manager is great,
 A must try when in Halifax

 We are so happy to discover an Indian in Halifax that serves proper Dal Makhani! It’s been a few years since we lived down south, where we were spoiled by our favourite North Indian restaurant, Zanzibar, so finding somewhere with a similar menu again has made my husband and I very happy.
 
 The Saag Paneer was also an absolute delight - rich, flavourful, and clearly made with care. It genuinely felt like eating proper Indian home-style food again.
 
 The only feedback is the Bhaji's were ever so slightly on the salty side, but overall the food was amazing and we’ll definitely be ordering again. It’s so nice to have authentic Indian food locally again .

 We visited Masala Lounge on Saturday night as a party of four, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the venue itself is warm and welcoming.
 
 The menu is great with options for everyone, the chilli paneer 65 was outstanding!!
 
 We have already booked a babysitter so that we can visit again.
